Connect Ohio Computer Classes
The free computer training provided through the Every Citizen Online program will help beginners utilize all that the internet has to offer. After completing the four provided courses, you will be equipped with the knowledge needed to improve communication with family and friends, access healthcare tools and government information and so much more! Classes are offered at Bainbridge, Chardon, Geauga West and Middlefield libraries this winter and spring. Contact your local library for a schedule
of classes.
Registration is ongoing and spots fill quickly. An online, self-paced curriculum is also available to do at home on your own or in the library. Ask at the Reference Desk for more details.

Golf in Geauga West -
Putter a round in the library.
An 18 hole mini golf course will take over the Geauga West Library for a funfilled day for the whole family. Test your miniature golf
skills up and down the library aisles on Sunday, March 25 from
10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Geauga West Library in Chesterland. The event coincides with the Chesterland Kiwanis pancake breakfast held at the West Geauga Middle School. Have a great
breakfast and “work off your calories” and support the Geauga
County Library Foundation during this special event. The mini-golf proceeds will continue to support the Every Child Ready to
Read program providing Geauga County Kindergartners with an early reading book, teddy bear and special library card. 18 holes of golf for only $5, special reduced advanced sale rate for groups!
Tickets available at the event and beginning March 1 at any
Geauga County Public Library. In addition there will be:

• Banjo the Clown with his amazing balloon creations

Snow Closing Policy
When in doubt, call ahead! Our library prides itself on being open and available to the public; but if it is
necessary to close; closings will be announced on TV, radio, and on the library’s website www.geaugalibrary.net. When the public school district in which the library is located is closed
due to inclement weather, morning storytimes are cancelled. Please call your library to determine whether other programs will be held. We suggest that you and your child have an emergency plan if he or she is at the library should it need to close early.

The library will then be closed Sundays until after Labor Day, September 3.
